Discovery Den is a nature-inspired workplace for Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) that brings together spaces for Productivity, Collaboration, Wellness & Relaxation, and Play. Designed as a dynamic environment for different modes of interaction, the space provides users with opportunities to focus, connect, recharge, and unwind. Through thoughtful spatial planning and a seamless blend of natural elements, Discovery Den offers an immersive workplace experience that reflects Sentosa’s unique character and connection with nature.
Inspired by Sentosa’s “Ridge to Reef” landscape, Discovery Den transforms the island’s natural essence into a sensory design journey. The cave-inspired collaborative space forms the heart of the design, drawing from Sentosa’s natural rock formations to evoke a sense of exploration and discovery. The textured feature wall echoes the island’s distinctive geological formations, bringing the character of Sentosa’s landscape into the interior, while flowing blue carpets reflect the tranquil movement of coastal waters. Together with organic forms and biophilic elements, the design creates a harmonious environment that reconnects people with nature.
